It’s that time of year again! You know, the time when kids beg to go outside, then beg to come in, say they’re bored yet can’t think of anything to do. We have the ideal solution: Summer Blast Camp at Houston Gymnastics Academy! This 11-week camp will keep kids active, engaged and anything but bored!
HGA’s Summer Blast Camp kicks off June 3rd and runs through August 16th! Combining fun and fitness, kids ages 3 – 12 years will learn new skills, jump on the trampolines, swing on our rope swing, leap into the giant foam pit and take turns on our obstacle course!
How is our summer camp structured? Each morning kicks off with a stretching session led by our awesome coaches followed by campers being divided into age groups. After an hour or so of playtime, kids gather for snacks before heading back to the gym. After more playtime, kids gather again for lunch. Next is quiet time where kids are able to rest and let their lunch settle before heading back into the gym for more activity. Finally, in an encouraging setting, surrounded by fellow campers, kids can showcase their new skills for their friends and coaches during “Showtime.” Each week is a different theme with Friday lunch always being a slice of delicious pizza! Summer Blast Camp is an excellent opportunity for your child to stay active, learn new skills, gain self-confidence and meet new friends! We offer a variety of camp options including Half Day (3-4 years old only), Full Day and All Day for those needing additional care. All kids must be potty-trained to attend our HGA Summer Camp.
