Houston Gymnastics Academy Walks to End Lupus

It was another exciting weekend for the Houston Gymnastics Academy family as we took to the streets of Houston in support of a great cause! Here at HGA, we aim to make an impact beyond the walls of our elite gymnastics facility by continually supporting local schools, local and national charities and assisting those in need of help following natural disasters

One cause particularly close to our hearts is the Lupus Foundation of America which is why, through the years, we have been actively involved in the annual Walk to End Lupus Now 5K, hosted by the Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.

On Sunday, May 6th, the HGA family including preschool gymnastics coaches, recreational gymnastics coaches, men’s and women’s team coaches, birthday party and camp coaches came together to unite for a worthwhile cause as we raced through the streets of downtown Houston and around Minute Maid Park, home of our World Series Champion Houston Astros.

The event included a 5K run, walk and yoga session and offered live music for participants and their cheerleaders. It was an honor for our HGA team members to break a sweat for a great cause and help support the fight to find a cure for lupus
