HGA Walks to End Lupus

“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much” – Helen Keller

The Houston Gymnastics Academy family believes in the power of community and the importance of giving back and helping those in need. On May 5th our team members, including preschool gymnastics coaches, recreational gymnastics coaches, men’s and women’s team coaches, birthday party and camp coaches joined together to unite for a worthwhile cause by taking to the streets of downtown Houston to Walk to End Lupus and support the Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.

It was a sunny morning filled with camaraderie as our HGA family raced through the streets surrounding Minute Maid Park, home of our Houston Astros.

This annual event included a 5K run, walk and yoga session and offered live music for participants and their cheerleaders. It was an honor for our HGA team members to break a sweat for a great cause and help support the fight to find a cure for lupus.
